Corrections & Complaints

We aim to get it right — and to put it right quickly when we don't.

Reporting an error

Accuracy is at the heart of what we do. If you spot a factual error in our reporting, please tell us. Email hello@thenetimes.com with the headline, a link to the article and details of the error.

Sourcing, attribution & removal requests

The NE Times publishes original commentary and analysis on news reported by third-party sources, for information purposes only. If you are a publisher or rights holder and believe your work has been referenced without proper credit, or you would like content attributed differently or removed, email hello@thenetimes.com with the details and we will review your request promptly.

How we handle corrections

  • We review every correction request promptly.
  • Where we have made a significant error, we correct the article and add a note explaining the change.
  • Serious corrections are handled transparently and at the earliest opportunity.

Making a complaint

If you wish to make a formal complaint about our journalism — for example regarding accuracy, fairness or privacy — email hello@thenetimes.com with "Complaint" in the subject line. Please include the article details and a clear description of your concern.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and to provide a full response as soon as possible. We take all complaints seriously and use them to uphold and improve our standards, as set out in our Editorial Guidelines.
